PART OF THE
PLASTIC MODULAR BELT - GENERAL
The default MT-E plastic module band has a pitch of 50.8 mm and cross bars of 6 mm. The modules are available in polypropylene (white) and polyethylene (blue). The length of the individual modules is 100 mm, the thickness is 14 mm.
The sides of the belt are executed with front ends MT-KK or with roller edges MT-RK.

TheMT-Cplastic module band can be made with a pitch of 76.2 mm or 101.6 mm and is available in polyacetal (light blue). This belt is used in freezing installations. Usually this belt is made with high side plates and a 1 1/2 or 2 chainMT-C-UK.

MT banden are positively driven by sprocket/drive wheels, and can be deployed at belt speeds of less than 1 meter per minute to 15 meters per minute. Speeds above 15 meters per minute are considered high speed.

The MT belts are used in production processes with a temperature of -40ºC (polyacetal, polyethylene) to +100ºC (polypropylene) in both food and other industries.
